This domain was registered with dreamhost.com in February 2008. It is also hosted with dreamhost. I bought this domain to house my fanlisting collective. I also own little-moments.net and amarillo-sky.net, although I plan on letting them expire when their time comes up and use only this domain as I have no use for the others.
I choose the name velvetysmooth.net when I was spontaneously inspired while watching an episode of Supernatural (my favorite show). The episode is called "Folsom Prison Blues", it's from the second season of the show. Sam (played by Jared Padalecki) and Dean (played by Jensen Ackles) get themselves thrown into prison to take care of an evil spirit that's been killing inmates and employees. Later when they need to make their escape Dean attempts to charm his lawyer into getting him some information. Later when he learns his charms worked he says, "Man, I am freakin' velvety smooth."
This is velvety smooth's first layout. It features actor Jensen Ackles in photos taken on a recent trip to Australia. The graphics were made using Photoshop CS and Paint Shop Pro 7.
